After deactivating Optane, the Acronis clone process worked fine and I’m now booting off the SSD. Solution to second issue: Turn off Intel Optane acceleration on the HDD. Clicking No or Cancel would reboot on the HDD without the clone process running. Clicking Yes to wait would just result in same message. Second issue: Possibly same issue described second above that the reboot into Acronis clone process was asking whether to wait for “removable media” that was not online. I worked around this issue for by creating a partition on the SSD so that one WD drive was seen by Acronis. (Despite having in fact two WD drives installed). It didn’t work for me the first time because I didn’t read the instructions and I didn’t check the Advanced Settings (or something like that) and made sure that “Sector by sector clone” and “Optimize for SSD” boxes were checked. Rayner agrees, suggesting that the scene “feels extra-fake” now. “It just feels weird,” says Finnigan as she and Rayner attempt to get back into a head space they were in seven months earlier while filming the pilot in Morocco. On this early May morning, star Adam Rayner (Barry) and his onscreen wife, Molly, played by Canadian actress Jennifer Finnigan, are reshooting the final scene, in which the couple and their two kids (played by Anne Winters and Noah Silver) have boarded a plane back home to the U.S., only to be halted in that process. The reluctant homecoming leads to a dramatic clash of cultures as Barry, accompanied by his American wife and children, is thrown back into the familial and national politics of his youth. Getting it right is key, as it needs to set up a dark, tense drama centered on Bassam “Barry” Al Fayeed, the younger son of a dictator who ends a self-imposed 20-year exile to return to his homeland - a fictional Middle Eastern nation that evokes countries such as Egypt, Syria and Libya - for his nephew’s wedding. ![]() With less than two months to air, I meet Gordon on the Kfar Saba set, 10 miles northeast of Tel Aviv, where his relentless pursuit of perfection still has him tinkering with the pilot episode. “But if you want easy, go to a channel that’s just chasing after other people’s work and ripping it off.” “I expected it to be hard,” says FX Networks CEO John Landgraf, seated in his office on the Fox lot just weeks before the series’ June 24 premiere. Taken all together, it could make a great TV show about the difficulties of making great TV. And the entire production had to be relocated from Morocco to Israel, creating additional logistical difficulties, to say nothing of the looming political objections to producing a show about the Arab world in the Jewish state. Casting proved a considerable challenge, with producers initially committed to landing a Middle Eastern star. The replacement for Lee, David Yates, also from the film world ( Harry Potter), had trouble with the transition to television. Since the way people are affected by advertisements is completely different from when advertising first started, big companies have had to make huge adjustments to the way they promote their products. In today’s world you could watch an entire advertisement and by the end of it you are still wondering what it had to do with the actual product. When they first started all of their advertisements were simple and involved a basic picture of the product and some general information about it. Things have changed a lot since they first started advertising their product. It takes a long time to master the art of advertisement and Jif has been doing it for over 50 years now. Jif would not be able to donate money if they could not continue to make it. Jif responded to this negativity not by removing the slogan from their advertisement, but by simply changing the slogan to, “Choosy Moms and Dads Choose Jif.” This slogan has received a lot of negative attention, not only because of the way it targets mothers, but also because it fails to mention fathers. Moms that choose Jif supposedly love their kids more because they would not let them choose any other kind of peanut butter. They almost use it as a guilt tool to make moms buy their product. This slogan basically means that if you are a smart mom and care about what your kids eat then you will choose Jif. In their catchy advertisement slogan “Choosy Moms Choose Jif,” they are targeting moms. If you walked into a grocery store you are more then likely going to overlook where the peanut butter is, that is because more often than not Jif has paid to have their peanut butter placed at the eye level of a child.Īlthough Jif primarily targets the younger generation they make sure to also target mothers. Jif also spends millions of dollars a year on where exactly their product is place in the local grocery stores. By using simple colors and the easy to read, say and spell company name kids will always be able to recognize it at the store. They used primary colors and made sure that the only thing on the face of the jar was the name of the product. Jif knows that their target age group is young kids. A lot has changed since then because Jif’s label is now very simple and easily recognized. You almost had to search the jar for the name of the company. There was a weird looking cartoon on it and a lot of advertisements and promotions for other products were place on the lid, this made the jar look very busy. The first ever Jif product came in a glass jar and the logo had a lot going on. ![]() We do not " let the votes decide."
